I figure, better to provide full-disclosure of such an event, rather than to withstand the abuse that is sure to follow. I am available for driving lessons, and/or computer technical assistance; whichever you feel you might still trust me to do.

Apple Macbook Pro is TOUGH
How tough you ask??? Real tough. I drove over it with my car. That's right, I drove over it... and not just once, but twice. Moving cars in and out of the garage, I had placed my attache down in a "safe spot." While pulling in, I ran over a bump. Convinced that this bump was an umbrella, albeit a big one, I continued to pull in. So sure that I killed the umbrella with the front wheel, I had no concern at the rear wheel. It wasn't until I got out of the car that I realized my attache had fallen over into the path of the wheels, (Imagine that sinking feeling you get in the bottom of your stomach... yup. That's it!) My glasses were completely flattened, but my main concern was my 5-week old Macbook Pro. Only damage... a slightly contorted ethernet jack. Wow! Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. New nickname for my trusty laptop is "Speed-Bump".
